For as long as I can remember photography has fascinated me but I truly started to enjoy it since my High School exchange year in Australia, where photography was a school subject and I learned the ins and outs of a darkroom. After that I took a weeklong summer course about photography in Germany that really sparked my passion for it.
Since then I focused my photography on trips around the world, which I am fortunate to have been able to do. On these trips I photographed everything: landscapes, architecture, street scenes, the animals. I have recently moved to Bangor where I met like-minded people and have rekindled my interest in photographing people.
For the future I am hoping to broaden my street scene shooting skills and doing a project on “Girls” in North Wales.
Next to my DSLR I have been using my film cameras frequently, an old Praktika, and a more recent addition for specifically for street photography: a Leica Mini Zoom.
